How long does it take to install a Waste Maid?

Installing a Waste Maid takes as little as 15 minutes using your existing mount, or 30–60 minutes with the included mount for most DIY installers.

Are any additional tools required to install?

Yes, we recommend you use the following tools (not included) to install your Waste Maid: adjustable wrench, flashlight, flathead screwdriver, hammer, phillips screwdriver, plumber's putty, rags, safety glasses, steel punch, and measuring tape.

Can I install a Waste Maid myself?

Yes, if you’re comfortable with basic plumbing and follow the manual and video guide. Otherwise, we recommend hiring a professional plumber.

What are the electrical requirements for a Waste Maid disposal?

Waste Maid disposals are designed for a standard 120-volt, 60 Hz wall outlet. A grounded outlet is required.

Can a Waste Maid disposal be hard wired?

Yes, you can directly wire a Waste Maid by removing the attached cord and following the instructions in the manual.
